My name is Stephanie and I’m a writer, editor and blogger.
I started this blog in 2013 after a 10-week trip that started in Morocco and ended in Norway. It was loosely planned—I had a backpack, a one-way ticket to Casablanca and a 2-month Eurail pass—and made for an amazing adventure that changed the way I see the world, the way that travel often does. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Uganda, Egypt, Anguilla and several locations throughout my home country, the U.S.
Fortuitous Travel is not about bucket lists or money-saving (though those topics may arise) and I am by no means a travel expert. Rather, this is a place for me to share my favorite photos and stories with friends and family, and fellow travelers looking for practical information. It’s been a while since my last post, but my recent trip to Egypt has inspired me.
